Ovega3®: Omega-3 with 3 Natural Antioxidants
Ovega3® is a dietary supplement based on omega-3 from fish oil, made with the highest quality natural raw materials.

Ovega3® contains omega-3 fatty acids and three highly concentrated natural antioxidants: Astaxanthin (351 mcg), Camu-Camu Vitamin C (12 mg), and Coenzyme Q10 (6 mg).
The main active components of omega-3 are EPA (182.9 mg) and DHA (96.2 mg).

EPA and DHA contribute to normal blood pressure and the normal functioning of the heart and brain. Vitamin C contributes to the normal function of the immune system (EFSA Claims).

A Quick Guide to Omega-3 Fatty Acids
Omega-3 fatty acids are essential fats beneficial for the human body, but they are not produced naturally by our body. This is why they must be obtained externally through food or supplementation. The most well-known omega-3 fatty acids are:

• EPA (Eicosapentaenoic Acid): found in fish oil.
• DHA (Docosahexaenoic Acid): found in fish oil.
• ALA (Alpha-Linolenic Acid): found in plant-based omega-3 oil.

EPA and DHA
EPA and DHA are the most active components of omega-3 with positive effects on our well-being. The most authoritative scientific studies available have been conducted using omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA.

The Three Natural Antioxidants
Astaxanthin, Vitamin C, and Coenzyme Q10 are three powerful natural antioxidants that enrich this omega-3 fish oil-based supplement. The primary role of antioxidants is to protect against oxidative stress and combat free radicals.
Vitamin C contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress and the normal function of the immune system.
The high-quality Coenzyme Q10, obtained through natural fermentation, is an antioxidant with multiple properties and applications.
Astaxanthin is the most powerful antioxidant in nature.

How is Fish Oil Freshness Measured?
The TOTOX value (TOTal OXidation Value) can be considered the "freshness" indicator. It should not exceed 26, and the lower it is, the fresher the oil. The TOTOX value provides an indication of the degree of oxidation of the raw material used, which in turn says a lot about the quality of an oil since omega-3-rich products are extremely sensitive to oxidation.
For our fish oil, the TOTOX value is 4.6, indicating a very high level of freshness.

Sustainability and Marine Life Protection
The fish oil used in Ovega3® comes from sustainable high-seas fishing, certified by Friend of the Sea® (www.friendofthesea.org). Friend of the Sea® is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting marine habitats. Fishing must not alter or destroy the integrity of the seabed, and bycatch rates must be less than 8% of the total catch. Friend of the Sea® is part of the Zero Impact® project.

Small Soft Capsules
Since 2002, EnergyBalance® has used only plant-based capsules for Ovega3®. The capsules are small and soft to facilitate swallowing.

Dosage
From 7 years of age: take 2 to a maximum of 10 capsules daily, during or before meals. Pregnant and breastfeeding women: max. 1 capsule daily. Store in a cool, dry place (recommended temperature: 15–25°C). Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet. A balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle are important. Keep out of reach of small children. Not a medicine.
